Theres a square black cover with 2 screws holding the cover on to the carb.. But no air filter anywhere that I seen.. And I had the whole carb right off the motor.. I bought the thing used last year. the motor was rebuilt. Perhaps, they didnt put the air clearner back on??

Once I take the cover off. You can see right into the carb.

theres 2 screws on the bottom of the carb. the one you can push up and gas comes out.. The other has a spring on it with a screw and a nut. I took that off and the needle was inside of it.

This is what we want to do, is look into the carb, You'll see 2 small, like pin holes, 1 at the top and 1 at the bottom closer to the front.
The bottom one is inline with the choke shaft. canyou see them?

No, they're inside the carb, back closer to the throttle plate, that's the brass plate further back that looks like the choke

You'll also see a small brass tube sticking up. Pump your primer and watch that tube at the same time to see if gas comes out when you prime it.
