Someone took an icy turn in our apartment complex sometime today and wiped out on my Honda. Nice. It would've been even nicer if they had left some insurance information, perhaps on the windshield. Stay classy, Seattle drivers. Stay classy.
Took out the bumper, the tail light and the trunk. I'm thinking 600-800-1000 bucks. With no fault insurance, no less. Great. I just noticed it at 3 A.M. here. Why can't these idiots just drive cautiously? I took some pictures. The snow hadn't melted yet. I've got his tire tracks. In fact, I canvassed the side of the apartment they were driving to and I think I've found the truck that did it. (You can tell it was a truck by how high the hit was. Plus the tire track is agressive. It looked like it matched the trucks track.) I'll pass that on the police tomorrow, I guess.

Hard to tell at 3 A.M. I got a super bright 180 Lumen LED light, and I checked out the vehicle I think it is (clear orf snow, what appears to be fresh damage & fresh paint) but it looks like white paint under that sort of light. My paint is a gold/brown. I'm just waiting for sun up....heh. Heopefully, it will be that easy. We'll see.

Depressing, it is.
Why wait until tomorrow? The a**hole is probably sleeping himself to sobriety as you're pondering what to do.
Yes, i've been victimized by a hit/run once. Definitely a truck, and put me out $800 to repair a 1/4 panel. Autobody repair is a lot more expensive than most of us think.
Yep. I was hit by an SUV in August. The driver didn't want to wait behind me at the light and decided to come around me on the median on the left so that he could get to the left hand turn lane. He hit my left side as he went by. I gave a description of the car, and the exact plate number. When the police arrived he ran the plate, took my information, but said they couldn't do anything because I couldn't identify the driver. He said, "If I showed you 5 pictures, could you identify the driver?" No, I couldn't say that I could. I thought I did ok by getting the plate number as he went by, but I guess that's not enough.
I once slid into a car in a parking lot on some ice and I did leave my insurance information and they filed a claim and my premiums went up. Just so you know some of us do still have integrity.
