seriously the driving instructors have it rough enough I wouldn't want to be one (driving instructor), that was a cruel prank and I am thinking it was a prank, if not now we know why instructors go over the rules before hand and leave the cell phones at the DMV office no exceptions. I went through 3 teenagers driving and spending the mandatory hours next to them behind the wheel. Like most it's starts at home. Where is the mannerism the respect for others and following rules.
In CA you are not allowed to retake the test for two weeks.
Correct. Those were driving lessons shown in the clip, not tests. Not a very good prank, either, as someone could have been hurt.
When I was an instructor we had dual controls, which eliminated the yelling and grabbing for the steering wheel which you see in the clip.
I never had a student that behaved badly, either. The HS kids were the best - very sharp and easy to teach. The entertainers from NYC were the worst - they had never been behind the wheel before, and some never were able to be licensed.
The website at the end of the clip is for a company that makes bluetooth devices for cars. Looks like it was a staged viral video marketing campaign.
