Hello again everyone! I know I had a very popular poll going here for quite some time, and that the most popular choice for me to pursue was the Toyota Corolla. However, my focus has since shifted a bit more towards wanting to buy the most "ecologically-friendly" vehicle available today. I had initially thought this would have been a Prius until I just read another thread on the forum that presented some valid arguments claiming that the Prius isn't as "Earth-friendly" as initially thought. Are there any vehicles out there that I could consider if I were looking to make the world a better place?

Default Go for the green

Get a Yugo, better U go than me in it.

Seriously get the Toyota Yaris. I love mine. 40+ MPG, comfy, A/C and power steering in a small eco car. Massive 11 gas tank. Range close to 500 miles. Get the option with the bigger wheels, etc. I paid tad over 13K cash money down to drive mine away total everything.

Default I Hope Al Loves Me, Too!

I hate to give up the old 1990 Blazer, it's a 4-cylinder with 130,000 miles and will probably last me another 10 years. Can I be forgiven for not buying a hybrid?

If you're such a big Al Gore fan just copy what he does.

Oh yeah that's right...he rides around in stretch limos and private jets.

Hey go for it.

Well if you're really that worried you'd get an EV. Since they aren't selling them... You can make an EV.

I have a Prius and it seems pretty earth friendly to me, sitting there not burning gas at stop lights and in traffic jams and drive through windows while everyone else is still doing so..... I sure am spending a lot less money on gas these days.
