I had a 1969 Pontiac LeMans. I am not sure whether I really owned it though. It was a little unclear (Long story). It was a low rider with abig engine and if we hit a bump or a swale somone would yell "Spaaaarrks!" and everyone would look out the back window to see the fireworks show.

After the LeMans I had a 1970 or 1971 Camaro that was badly modified with a holley 4bbl carb, water injection, headers and glass pack mufflers that hung so low that they virtually dragged on the ground. the floorboards were completely rusted through and when someone woudl tailgate I would either drop some superballs or a handful of discharged batteries out the hole in the floor. The tailgater woudl get a surprise when those things bounced up underneath his car out of nowhere. A few repeats of this and they suaully backed off, or pulled over to see what was wrong with their car

1938 Ford pickup, had '40 standard front sheetmetal(alot prettier), channeled over the frame 10" or so, hood was sectioned, '54 Olds V8, shorty 5' flatbed on the back. Paid 75 bucks for it, kept jumping time, Dad said no way was I going to attempt it and he didn't have time...sold it for $50. This all in early '69.

I drove my sister's Acura Integra for almost a year after turning 16... but MY first car was a white 1992 Mustang. Total piece of crap, but I loved it!

A 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon. It was a "lovely" light green color. This would have been around 1987.

1966 Dodge Dart GT V-8.
Owned from 1979 to 2002. Bucket seats with console; automatic shift.
Being a car guy, I did some modifications to it...
- Dual exhaust
- Electronic ignition
- 500 cfm AFB Carter carb
- 14" unsilenced air cleaner
- Holley Street Dominator aluminum intake manifold
- Shift kit for the auto transmission
- 3.23:1 axle ratio replacing the 2.93s

It was a pretty fun car to drive. 0-60 mph came in around 8.5 seconds. I timed 40-60 mph in 4 secs and 50-70 in 4.8. Fuel mileage was approximately 14-18 mpg. It could get 20 mpg with a lot of highway driving.

A photo of it:

A 1984 Delta 88 ... when it was 16 years old LOL. Destroyed it going on a road trip, and filling up the tank. Timing belt snapped and one of the rods blew.

My first car when I was 16 was a 1972 Cadillac Sedan DeVille (in 1992).

It looked like the top Cadillac in this photo, but was the color of the lower Cadillac in this photo...

That was a really nice car you've owned, I really love the big Caddies of the 1960s/early 1970s alot.

You rarely see any of the downsized late 1970s Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon's at all, I've only seen a few around in the past 10 years or so.
