There are some nice classics in there that must be thinking "shoot me now!". No dignity left. I hope the silly trend of older cars with huge wheels ends soon...
As for the sponsors, I guess they get some money as it is advertising....
I think it is the worst FAD EVER!! I hate these cars. It is a who can throw the most money into a $300 car. I dont think these guys know how stupid they look.
I don't know what's worse...this or those kids that rice out their mom's hand-me-down Civic.
With the advertisements of Skittles, Puma, Reeses and Pillsbury, I would hope these owners are getting some money in exchange for advertising their companies on the sides of their cars. Though i seriously doubt there's any sponsorship.
I've lettered a lot of professional race cars and I'm thinkin' that there's some copyright infringement afoot...LOL!

Because they want to copy off the lifted 4WD guys? But at least a lifted 4WD serves a purpose...no instead it's all about "who has the biggest rims"...on an older car like the ones pictured, you can only go so big (they were only designed with 15's in mind) before you have to start lifting it to accommodate those big rims.
