I am looking for some new wiper blades that are high quality... Where to buy them would be nice also. I know they don't sell the same types everywhere. Websites or stores would be good. Thank You!

I don't buy expensive blades/refills. I buy plain-jane. I make them superior by using Rain-X.
It's amazing the longivity you can get from a set of blades- because you don't have to use them as often.
Using Rain-X on your windshield makes the water bead up leaving a clear view without having to turn on wipers. And it becomes even more apparent as you get to higher speeds because the wind drives the beads of water off the windshield.

I personally like Bosch, for imports, and Trico for domestics.

What car do you have? Just avoid those cheap plastic ones that all the tire stores so love to sell.

With an original equipment wiper blade, Bosch, Trico, etc. you can usually just refill the rubber portion. Better parts stores will have the refills.

yup go for bosch I have them on my car and they are awsome. I went with cheap blades on my truck and they are already toast in 3 months.

I beleive its Pylon that still makes replace blades out of 100% rubber which are very cheap too.I get mine at wal-mart.Any blade you keep too long will get streaks because of wear to the tips;replace often is what I do as they are cheap.

IMO OEM inserts or blades are the way to go.

I like to use Trico.

However, they wear out whether you use them or not. Being outside kills them. Cars that are garaged 24/7 will have its wipers last a little longer.

While true Rain-X does help, you didn't take into account that the sun, over time, dry rots the rubber blades to where you turn them on and they're no good. I've had plenty go south on me, they dry rotted, tore, smeared all over the windshield, etc.

That's what I was going to say - the biggest enemy of your wipers is not water, but the lack of it. I'm a proponent of Rain X also, but as far as a good, cheap blade I go with Anco (I sold them for years).
