You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm actually pretty impressed. I couldn't work up that contraption. That took a lot of ingenuity. Imagine what he could do with a mechanical engineering degree.
Okay you bunch of rednecks... Just kidding. If we are supposedly so free in our country, how come he can build this thing and run it on the road? If we tried this, every busy body PC type would be calling 911 to stop him.

If he had an engineering degree he wouldn't be able to build anything that actually worked, except on paper.

hahahaha
Too true. We need more engineers to spend time with tools in hand working in reality instead of on paper or software. Classroom study is worthless without hands on training. A big problem we have is renovation of our hospital. Engineers look at previous blue prints to make design changes. That's fine, but what about actually looking at the building itself? Did work on one engineer's design which called for a 3inch pipe to come off an oil filter at a 90 degree angle. That's fine except that there was 6 inches of space between the frame of the unit and the oil filter. We got the standard answer from the engineer,..."well it works on paper". Sorry, a thin ink line may make that 90 degree bend but a 3inch pipe isn't going to make that turn, at least not without a kink so tight no oil would pass through.
I give the guy tons of credit for creating something that likely works for him and probably gives him an edge in making a living.
Plus, I bet he knows how to stop it... unlike folks that are soooo afraid of Toyotas.
