I've got a friend who has an 81 Datsun that hit a deer in the front right side, so he basically needs to know what all years he has an option to use to replace the headlights and the bumper(or at least the bumper blinker). Anyone know?

There are shops selling replacement parts, you could replace hood, fenders, bumper, headlight bezels and turn signals for less than $200. All you need is a painter.

More info on some of these shops? I don't think he cares about having it look nice, just enough to have it pass inspection.

Best I can tell... 1980-1986 were the same. Remember though, it changed in early 86 and was called 86.5 (which was the hardbody Nissan).

Often referred to as the Datsun 720 truck.... started using Nissan name in 1983.

Any decent boneyard will have Hollander interchange manuals that list this info.

They don't charge extra (at least not around here) for this info.

Tell the scrappie what you are trying to do, they are in business to sell used parts, they should help you out.
