Can anyone recommend a Catholic parish near Columbia? I know that there is a parish that meets at the Inter-faith Center near our house but we want to try and find a parish that meets at an actual Catholic Church. We are a young family so we'd like one that offers lots of family-oriented activities.

Thanks!

Most of my Catholic friends attend Our Lady of Perpetual Help over on Ilchester Road in Ellicott City. Most of them are families with children and they seem to like it there. My one Catholic friend who does not attend there (because she said it was just too big) attends St. Augustine's in Elkridge which she said was extremely friendly and welcoming. Not being Catholic, I have been to neither. Hope that helps.

St. Louis in Clarksville might be closer. It is a nice looking church. If you are thinking about Catholic school you may want to see who has privileges where. I attend the interfaith center at Wilde lake which definitely has it's drawbacks. Mainly the look and setup. I do like the children's liturgy That they offer. I think they offer choir and music as well but I'm not sure how often they offer choir and music. We have school discounts with olph, st. Louis and I believe st. Augustine but I'm not positive.

You might want to look at the churches associated with rsps as it is a popular school.
