What are the best cable/internet providers in Baltimore? I'll be moving to Fells Point on Jan 1. I'm not a fan of Comcast. It doesn't look like the area gets Fios so I think Verizon uses Direct Tv for it's other option but I'm not sure. Another option is DISH Network which I think is already installed. Then I would of course still need internet from another provider.

Yep, DirecTV is Verizon's alternate cable TV choice in the city.

I've been looking at clearwire (clear.com) for a while, but haven't made the switch yet. When I shopped for a different Internet provider a number of years ago (switching from dial-up), I found that most offered their services on Verizon's equipment at a higher price point than Verizon itself did.
