Not a B'more frequent traveler, so I have a weekday appoinment at S. Charles St, between Lombard and Pratt St.

Where should I find cheap parking in that area? Will the street parking spots be gone quickly?

Thanks a lot.

That location is in the heart of downtown. Parking lots are your option and they can be expensive depending on your perspective.

You can park in Jonestown for free and walk, if you don't mind a stroll, 0.5 mile or so. Type "Jonestown Baltimore" into Google Maps to find out where it is.

There could be street parking around the Hippodrome. I go to Trinacria often which is right outside downtown, and never have trouble finding a spot.

Just pay the meter... Baltimore has a parking war going on....Incidentally, if you subscribe to the 311 app.. the number one complaint usually coming out of South Baltimore and Canton is parking as neighbors snitch on each other for parking violations.. .I love the ones that say 'The car has been here for two weeks and not moved' and you look at the photo and it looks like a perfectly operable car.. .You read the disposition... GOA.. (Gone on Arrival) which is not like the owner just decided to move the car on that particuliar day after sitting for four weeks....so... I wonder if someone fudge it in order to get their azzhole neighbor, who they hate, car towed.....
