I love Baltimore, but I thought this was pretty funny. We were at a comedy club last night in Arlington and the comedian was making fun of Baltimore. He said the city reminded him of the game SimCity. You know when your city is just about to implode, running out of money, water mains bursting, fires, crime and the mayor is being run out of town, right before you lose the game? That’s Baltimore!

He also said this was a true story (not sure I buy it, but whatever):
He was walking out of a strip club and some dude walked up to him and pointed a gun at his face and asked if he was (some other guys name). The comedian said no that’s not his name and so the guy with the gun said, oh, sorry, and walked away.

I’m sure he was just kissing up to the NoVA crowd, but it was funny.

Love Baltimore. Love Baltimore jokes. The examples you gave were pretty lame.

One of my all-time favorites that goes way back......

Question: What's the best thing to come out of Dundalk?

Answer: An empty #10.

Not sure who will get that one.

I found a few jokes on Baltimore Jokes | Funny Humor by Joke Buddha and thought they were funny.

Half the people in Baltimore dream of having their own house. The other half dream about breaking into them.

Amazing city Baltimore. Where else can ya bet on a horse race like the Preakness with your welfare check?

Most of the natives in Baltimore aren't very friendly. In fact, if it weren't for muggings, there'd be almost no personal contact.

Baltimore still has a Zoo where a lot of the animals are still behind bars. Of course, that's for their own safety & protection.

But seriously, Baltimore is one great town where something happens every minute; unfortunately, most of it goes unsolved though.

Now a MD joke:
If You Can Dream It, We Can Tax It

I would have keyed a couple of BMWs in the club's parking lot.

Hey, I don't get mad, but I get even. It would have been a satisfying night for me.
