We are strongly considering taking a job at Maryland Live Casino. We would rent first before settling into an area. Please give us suggestions on good areas to live. We are looking for GREAT schools and SAFE SAFE SAFE areas. We wouldn't want to travel more than 30 miles to the casino. Please offer us suggestions as my children are young 7 & 3 and obviously want a good area. We have less than 3 weeks to move as we just got the job offer!

The casino is in "northern anne arundel county" ...
very close to "eastern howard county and "southwest baltimore county"
all of which are safe suburbs with good schools.

Use those terms when looking for a nice little house to rent.
Those areas will be your best (if pricey) shot to START.

After in place for a while... look more deeply and farther away if inclined.

It depends on how much you want to spend but Severna Park would be a great place for you to consider. That's where I grew up, and I know the area very well. Great schools, safe neighborhoods, on the water...but pricey. It fits your criteria geographically speaking and is definitely worth looking into

Third recommendation for Anne Arundel County. Arnold, Linthicum, Crownsville, Millersville, Gambrills, Crofton are areas to consider there.
