Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says there would be obstacles in bringing an NBA team to Baltimore but she has hope.
Ryan SharrowNew Media Editor- Baltimore Business Journal Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake wants an NBA team back in Baltimore.

“I would love it,” Rawlings-Blake said Wednesday on 98 Rock’s morning show when asked about the possibility of professional basketball returning to the city permanently.
The comments were made after the mayor announced that the Washington Wizards would play an Oct. 17 preseason game at the Baltimore Arena against the New York Knicks. The game will be the Wizards’ first game in Charm City in 14 years.
Rawlings-Blake said she has “been in communication with other people who are like-minded” about bringing an NBA team to Charm City.

I have a suggestion. How about the Wizards moving
BACK to Baltimore. They should change their name to the
Bullets. They haven't had a shred of luck since they left
the city.

Doubt if any NBA franchise will happen under the watch of SRB.
She has a habit of seeing only the capital letters while the
periods, commas and question marks are being ignored.

Man, how great would it be to have a hometown team in Baltimore. I love the NBA, but I have never had any feeling towards the Wizards - I don't really care for them. I find myself rooting for the Bulls.

Maybe she should spent more time how to clean up the city first instead trying to bring another sport team in the city and benefits the developers and whoever under her. At the end of the day, they will raise the taxes to pay for the stadium..
