Sheila has her hat back in the ring:
Sheila Dixon Announces She's Running For May | WBAL Radio 1090 AM

Gotta say, Dixon would be better than SRB...

Her "...shoe's on the other foot..." comment made me dislike her well before she got into the trouble that got her bounced from office.

I'll certainly vote against her.

Vote against her if you like; but the city needs some leadership to end our five years of drift. If Dixon is the candidate that can beat SRB, Dixon gets my vote. I hope I don't have to chose between between leadership and honesty. But if given that unappetizing choice, I will chose leadership.

Has Woodlands come-off his high after having read this announcement?

Congrats to Shelia Dixon for her victory. Unless Woodlands decides to run then that's where my vote will go too.

Sad thing is people won't think it was bad what she did. I don't even understand why you guys are even considering here, you know already how much corruption there is in Baltimore. You're bringing in a court certified corrupt employee.

And I don't think you really understand how bad a mayor SRB is (to the extent that she acts as if she is a mayor at all.) Obviously, the choice of a person with Sheila Dixon's track record is a desperation move that I wouldn't make if there is a better choice.
