So what does the city plan to do with all these economically challenged African Americans and their communities in which they inhabit?!

1) who exactly is "the city" that you refer to? The Municipal government?
2) what power or authority for real change exists at the city level?
3) which vested interests inside or outside the gov will work against any real change?

what's to do?

Govt provides for those who can't or are unwilling to take care of themselves. They don't get much, no way that I'd be willing to live like that. Lots of white people in the same boat.

They are going to have to keep them poor and uneducated because if they become more affluent and learned to any degree they might wise up and vote republican.

So far they have done a tremendous job. More than thirty years after Baltimore got its first black mayor and the liberal idiots took over city hall, Baltimore's black neighborhoods are more violent, more deadly, and with higher unemployment than they have ever had. This is ethnic cleansing at its finest, all run very efficiently by people of the same ethnicity and color, who consistently blame everything on Whitey. One has to ask, how can a people do this to their own people?

Why is it that some people think voting Republican is the cure
of all ills? Given the current situation in The White House and
Congress, such a belief is pure insanity.

The political establishment, both the dems and most repubs, are dead set against this "outsider" getting anything accomplished. The repubs don't care if it alienates their base because the donors are behind them in this regard and so they'll be re-elected anyway. Any pol's prime directive is re-election.

Having said all that, I don't think that liberal policies have benefitted poor people.

It's a one sentence answer to a 1000 page question.
Simple and simplistic just like the clown they voted for.

The situation on a national level has greatly improved this year. 4.5T added to the market, exports up, wages up, consumer/business confidence up, unemployment down, energy prices down, border under control. Far better than the situation in Baltimore. The toxic paristanship is nothing new, has been an issue for 20 years.

The Dems that control Baltimore and Maryland are racists that want to keep the blacks downs and offering them crumbs for votes...disgusting.

Yea, what they should be offering the blacks is something that is harder to sell but is far more effective. The exact opposite of what theyre currently being offered. Upward income mobility, School choice, Semi-safe neighborhoods that attract private investment. Things that cities like Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, etc are offering blacks that have created a decent sized black middle and upper class; despite the cultural challenges.
