Next week I'm coming to Baltimore for the 1st time and will be going
to the World Football Challenge (Chelsea v AC Milan) at M&T Bank Stadium.

Hope anyone can, I procrastinated and didn't get a hotel when I should have. The game is a sell-out, and most of the hotels around the stadium are booked or $$$$.

Is there a rail system in Baltimore that would lead to the stadium?

Hotels near rail?

Any other tips?

Parking?

Also we will be heading to DC the nexy day, so maybe a hotel on the way.

Thank you.

You could always stay near or at BWI Airport. You could take the light rail from there to the Hamburg Street stop, right next to M&T Bank Stadium. Staying there would put you a little closer to DC.

Yes, the light rail will take you right to the stadium. As stated, anywhere around BWI would work. There are also two hotels in Linthicum that are within walking distance of a light rail stop:

Sleep Inn & Suites Airport
6055 Belle Grove Rd

Comfort Inn BWI Airport
6921 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.

I believe when I was looking at them for family a while back, the Sleep Inn had better reviews.

Here is more info about the Baltimore light rail system (http://www.mtamaryland.com/services/lightrail/ - broken link).
