They are trying to ban Phillies fans from coming to the stadium because they normally take up most of the stadium. It's about time. Read story below
Nats Try To Ban Phillies Fans From Park (http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/sports/phillies/nats-try-to-ban-phillies-fans-from-park#.Tyww-KzuLgI.facebook - broken link)
The DC area teams all complain about Philadelphia or Pittsburgh fans filling the seats. Well except the Wizards who no one goes to see.
Many times there are more Penguins fans than Capitals fans at the games, and when the Steelers and Redskins play the seats are a sea of black and gold. Which really pisses off the DC fans because Redskins tickets are usually hard to get, even now when they have a crap team.
The Lerners need to concentrate on building a better team or they will find themselves with the typical DC baseball operation-moving somewhere else.
On another note, DC area fans whine about everything. Many honestly though the Redskins still had a shot at the Super Bowl this year when they were 3 and 8.
Hmmmm....if this becomes a trend, then many adjustments will have to be made. Whenever the Yankees are playing at the Oakland Coliseum, the Yankee fans always seem to outnumber the A's fans, this is also true, to a slightly lesser extent, with the Red Sox.
I have also noticed that Giants fans seem to be overly represented whenever they play the Padres in San Diego. Bay Area residents who become elderly and too sensitive to the cold, move down to San Diego, but retain their loyalty to the Giants. Can't the Padres do something to ban these hooligans from their stadium?
The Nats have not really learned how to handle this situation.
What they should do is bundle Philly games together, or with other games. Put them in packages. Put them on sale before single seat games. TThe Philly fans who want to come and get good seats will buy the packages and spend more money overall.
Then, use multi-tear pricing. Make the Philly games their own, special tier with higher prices.
Use all the extra income to sign more players to beat the Phillies.
Other teams in other sports do this. (The Buffalo Sabres games against Toronto are always packed with Leafs fans, Sabres love it! More money in the bank, if handled correctly).

If you notice it's only the Phillies fans because of how they act when they do go to the game. They are rude and act like it's their house and stick out their chest and I guess it's starting to bother Nats fans.

Then more Nats fans should come to the games...problem solved.
