I was born in Brooklyn, and lived there when the Dodgers won the Series and listened to Vin Scully, he was great.

The, I moved Detroit when the Tigers won the WS and I listened to Ernie Harwell. He was excellent.

Then, I moved to St. Louis, and the Cardinals won a World Series, and I listened to Jack Buck, he was good.

Then, I moved to Atlanta, and the Braves won a World Series, and I listened to Skip Caray, and he was okay.

Then, I moved to Tampa Bay, and the Rays got into the World Series but lost. I stopped listening to radio at that point.

I left SW Florida shortly after the Rays lost in 2008, but recently returned to give them another shot. Their radio crew is awful though.

You should have heard the Rays' current radio voice, Dave Wills, when he was in Chicago. He rivaled Hawk's ability as a great propagandist for the White Sox and bashed the Cubs consistently. The latter has ceased a bit but not entirely.
