I see the Twins were all ready to put this trash in their Hall of Fame in lieu of his 2010 arrest and conviction for beating his other wife. It's a shame how our society glorifies these thugs. Shame on the Twins , no wonder they go no where every year

had to look it up to be sure but I guess I did remember this accurately...the Twins won 2 World Series in 5 years from '87 to '91 and still have the second most WS Championships of all MLB Teams over the past 30 years.

...thas rite, we bad...uh-huh

In the last 30 years the Yankees have won five World Series, the Giants and Red Sox have won three each, and the Cardinals, Marlins and Blue Jays have two apiece.

The Twins are in a 4 way tie for 4th place in the number of WS won over the last 30 years

Arrow Official Minnesota Twins Thread

I guess about 26 of 30 "experts" have picked the Indians to win a once-again weak ALC, and about 4 of 30 have chosen the Twins.

I think the White Sox could be the sleeper of the division this season.

What a gem Berrios pitched yesterday. 10 strikeouts and a shutout against a team many feel is the best in the American League. I'm glad that I slipped out of work to watch it.

Misery on opening day for the Twins, potential star Royce Lewis injured himself running the bases.

Excerpt from NY Times.

Quote:
Off to a strong start in his first Opening Day, Lewis, the budding Twins star, exited Thursday’s game in the third inning with a right quad injury he sustained while running the bases.

Prior to hurting himself rounding second base on a Carlos Correa double, Lewis, who missed parts of three straight seasons with consecutive torn right anterior cruciate ligaments, homered and singled.

Seems Opening Day can be a jinx for some . . . Aaron Rodgers sat out the whole season with a game one injury . . . Colorado Rockies gave up 14 runs to AZ in last night's season opener here in Phoenix.
