Hope I'm not duplicating; didn't find anything about this...
The basketball regular season is over, we don't have a pro baseball team, I don't care for hockey......
Has anyone attended any of their games, the San Antonio Missions? I don't follow baseball per se, yet I LOVE!!! to watch it, especially live, in the ballpark.
My last residence was near Cleveland, so I got to a few Indians games here and there.
I'm not about to travel to Arlington, or Houston, just for a ball game, so I'm thinking about getting out to some of the minor league games.
I love going to minor league games because you get to meet and see players play before they get called up to triple A or the big leagues!!!
I met Jeff Bagwell while he was rehabing in Corpus Christi with the Hooks and met Jason Lane for the 2nd time while he was in Round Rock with the Express for the same thing.

I live in Salem Or and across the I-5 from us is the home of the Keizer Volcano's they are A-short season farm club of the SF Giants, they play in a league with 8 or maybe 7 other teams, we get to see the Mariners, Rockies, Padres, Oakland A's ,Texas and the others I can't remember their parent teams, but it is such fun to be in a small stadium and see these young players with big dreams play. Its just neat summer entertainment..
One should try it if you have something like this close to you..
