Sooo there's a quiet rumor that Chauncey B and Kenyon Martin from the Denver Nuggets could be going to Miami. Would this make the Heat better?
What do you think the Heat should do to make them better because its obvious the "big 3" is not going to get it done.
How would their salaries match with what the Heat give up unless you're talking about Bosh being involved along with a few more other players. The only other way is you have a multi-team trade. Otherwise, it would be impossible for this trade to occur.
Billups makes almost has much as the big 3. Martin makes MORE than the big 3. No way in hell they would accept 2-3 million which is the only way the Heat could get them.
The Heat need guys who are tough and are team players. The only team player they have is Mike Miller. They have a TON of way past their prime players which will be good for morale but they don't do much on the court. They need players like John Salley, Glen Davis, and Michael Cooper. Guys who are good players but not exactly premier enough to be starters. So, they focus on making their minutes count by giving 100% every play and not being afraid to be physical.

Yea it would be a multi-team trade but I've only heard of the Nuggets and the Heat, I don't know who else is involved.
Would this trade make them better? Kenyon Martin isn't playing, and Chauncey is shooting poorly this year. Wouldn't make them that much better since what they need is a defensive center and a spot up shooting pg. Eddie House has shined at the point recently. No way this trade works, but even if it did, i doubt billups and martin would have an effect quickly.
Are the wheels coming off the Miami Heat or what? I think so. They just got blown out in their own building by lowly Indiana. Wade was horrible from the field and the bench produced a lousy four points all night. Doesn't sound like any Championship caliber team I have ever heard of. Apologists will say it was because Wade had a bad night or Haslem didn't play. Blah, blah.
The fact is this overhyped bunch of showboats combined with some scrubs was doomed from the start. How else can you explain the total lack of chemistry and the woeful bench play? This team is a superhyped joke.

All I read was the score and assumed that Wade was still out with injuries. Frankly, I am really surprised though not shocked. All the hype by some sports analysts that the Heat would be invincible is looking very foolish. I am not a good basketball strategist to figure out what is wrong but a good point guard may be a good place to start. Calls for coach Spoelstra to resign may not be premature.
