Yes, it was planned years ago that on our 10th year of marriage, I would file for divorce and be entitled to half. Mr. GE was dumb enough not to sign a pre-nup.

I don't think anyone here has claimed that. He was seriously naive for not doing that. Oh well....live and learn.
He was much more arrogant at a young age. And probably felt like he was untouchable. So I'm not sure if it was just stupidy.
You would think his father would have been able to advise him duirng those times to make a better decision? Or hell anyone for that matter... But maybe he blew them all off.
