Garnett has made a fortune. He may just sign for the vets exception next year with Miami or OKC etc.
Frankly, that's what I would do. THe celtics only made the ECF due to Bulls injuries....Garnett knows this.
That would be a slap in the face to Boston fans if he went to Miami right after losing to them in game 7. It would make more sense for him to go to the Western Conference.

He won a title there and been a Celtic for the last 5 years so why would he make himself look stupid and sign with a team he obviously hates going by his exit from Game 7?

Look at teams that could BADLY use a guy like Garnett to give them 30minutes a night that are solid teams.
Heat leap off the page, they could play him at the 5.
OKC....bench player to spell Perkins etc.
Lakers...god only knows but they have no bench and gasol is likely gone via trade and who knows what they will get.
Bulls....don't need him IMO.
Dallas, could really use him.
Spurs....they are pretty stacked already but Garnett would help.

there is talk of the spurs having interest, and i get the feeling blair and bonner are on their way out. some talk of splitter being the next george hill for the spurs, IE being traded for a late lotto pick where the spurs can get a more defensive minded big. they want diaw back, but the fact that duncan "hates" kg, i dont expect that talk to be serious.
