They can't amnesty anyone; they wasted it on someone who was due to make $4m last season (can't even remember who) instead of Biedrens....the only truly bad decision the Lacob ownership has made yet. So yeah, Beidrens + Jefferson = $20m wasted next season. Thankfully they'll both be gone after 2014.
This Warrior team reminded me so much of the 2006-07 team that knocked off the number one seed Mavericks in the playoffs. Like that team, this team was a treat to watch. As I recall the Warriors didnt sustain that success in the following season(s), perhaps that will change with Mark Jackson there who imo deserves alot of credit for this turnaround.

They're not very comparable, IMO, other than the surprise factor. The "We Believe" team was mostly vets, all offensive/no defense, and centered around an oft-injured Baron Davis. This team is much younger, more well-rounded, and yeah, a better coach (who, if nothing else, preaches both ends of the floor).

What I meant by how they reminded me of that team, was the exciting offensive display by both those teams. I remember how that 2006-07 team shot alot of threes which made it a treat to watch. I agree that this team played better defense, but they also displayed some exciting offense, especially in the first round and games 1 and 2 in the second round.
The Warriors aren't my team, no, I support the Lakers and most of all Kobe, however I will say this much.
I'm sad today. While I was pulling for the Spurs (only because they have a better chance against the Heat), it doesn't take away from the Warriors being one of the most entertaining and explosive teams in the playoffs this entire year. The games were hard fought, the team was underrated, and the coaching was just spectacular. I love how much class the Warriors have for their fans and I wish them the best gearing into the future.
It's a team I have nothing bad to say about. What an awesome team and because they're so young, there's no where to go but up from this point on-wards.
Amazing series to all the Warriors fans out there. This team was exceptional, I've been tuned into every game and it was like seeing a team grow up in these playoffs right before your very eyes on national television. It was a spectacular run and no one can take that away from them.
This is quite a matchup with both teams ridiculously gifted. My warriors are my team with Thompson being my favorite player with Curry and Green second and third. Curry can be the deciding factor if he can control turnovers and working his "J" for three. He needs to rely on the muscle boys to penetrate the paint. The teams are so similar with , Durant, Ibaka and the amazing Westbrook ( a basketball prodigy). Thompson 28 points Curry 26 points Green 16, Livingston 18 , plus 22 contributing we win!!! Why do we win?.......free throw dominance in a very physical game with fouls up the yingyang !!! GSW must improve on defense to ice this sucka!
