Not sure Stern is to blame here; from reading the article it seems it does pretty clearly violate the CBA and most owners were objecting to the trade. I think if the Clips sign Rivers (which shouldn't require giving up Jordan), Chris Paul will re-sign and they won't need to pursue KG.
