Brett Brown is his name. He used to be an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs.
Hopefully, he will be able to turn their fortunes around but there is no reason for optimism.

Who knows really. Maybe he will do what Gregg Popovich did for the Spurs and bring multiple championships to Philly.
I might take this year off from the Sixers, last year was the first year I didn't go to at least 20 games in about 8 years. This year I'm probably not going to any games. Its my way of saying I didn't like the Jrue trade, and I'm not a fan of this whole tanking thing either.

The owners just bought the Devils too, seems like a large fan conlict there.
I am hoeful for a future but not feeling great about th Sixers right now
I wonder if there is a move coming, for the Sixers that is.
much speculation on this as he also purchased the Arena and the current Sixer rental situation is very non lucrative for the Sixers ownership
Long term I can't see Philly without an NBA team and the nets didnt do so well in Jersey so guess its only speculation. Not sure if the NY metro needs three teams TBH

Even if he wanted to relocate the 76ers, there are too many factors to consider that would go against him.
1. The NBA commissioner would not favor it.
2. The NBA owners would veto the move
3. Philly is too big of a market(4th largest) not to have an NBA franchise.
4. 3 NBA teams in the New York market would be ridiculous
5. The NY Knicks and Brooklyn Nets would never allow it.
James - They got that 19 year old center for Jrue. Let's see how well he plays. Plus that got that guard in the 1st round. Did you like their draft?
I'm surprised that anybody bought tickets the last few years.
gwilly - I'm sure you're right about the move - although the Warriors did move from Philly.
New York has 3 NHL teams. That's also ridiculous.
Let's speculate - Which city would want and support an NBA and an NHL team - Seattle?
