It's sort of similar to how people in the Baltimore area root for the Washington Capitols and the Washington Wizards.

Same story for Philadelphia in the Arena Football League. Soul are the only team in the Northeast Corridor (I consider Pittsburgh more Midwestern/Appalachian). Baltimore, Washington, Boston, and NYC don't have a team. So, if you're from the Northeast, even if you hate Philadelphia, if you like Arena Football, your closest team is in Philly, and owned by former Eagles QB Ron Jaworski.

Yes but only if a there is a really good/interesting player on the team. Other then that it is painful to watch lay ups and close up shots being missed.

I only watch the US women's national team in the Olympics or other international tourneys. I like to see our AllStars whoop up on other country's teams.

If more of the players were hot, ratings would be much greater.
