So if I'm not mistaken, Toni's best years came on a non-contender?

I'm not really familiar with the basketball HOF but is it like the Rock and Roll HOF where it's a joke or is it more like the cult of Cooperstown where it seems like it's a secret society to keep people out?

It's an international HOF aimed at those that have promoted, developed etc. the sport of basketball.

As such it includes owners, refs, women, men, NBA'ers etc etc etc.

I for one don't consider it a joke because it's upfront about what it is.

I mean, nobody that's done their homework is going to be confused when Kukoc gets admitted this year that it was because of his NBA career and suddenly think that he's as good as the guys that got in solely on the NBA stats.

It's the guys like Kukoc, Dirk, Sabonis, the Gasols, Parker, Yao that mean in 50 years basketball has truly gone international instead of slowly fading away like baseball is. Basketball is a worldwide sport and so is it's HOF.

Am personally not familiar with the Rock & Roll HOF extensively, but from what you're saying, if the Rock & Roll HOF pretty much lets anybody in, then yes, the basketball HOF is very much similar to the R&R HOF

You can find the list of people that have made the basketball HOF on wiki and subjectively decide for yourself.

List of players in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The more I look down the list, the more I think Webber makes it. Maybe not this year but I'm less on the fence about him getting in.
