Wasn't that OKC team the youngest in the league? Westbrook, Durant and Harden were all about 23 years old and playing in their first finals. Their experience level was in no way comparable to Lebron/Wade/Bosh. That was Lebron and Wade's 3rd time in the finals.

Experience-wise, yes, but they had crazy talent. A team with Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka lost in 5 games. LeBron averaged 28.6/10.2/7.4

We have a lot of examples of talented teams not doing well in the past. Given two teams of similar skill, I will take experience every time...especially in the finals.

Besides for game 5 that 2012 OKC Miami finals was a good one. Yes it was only 5 games but games 1-4 were very competitive and a few shots here, a missed free throw there or Mario Chalmers not having the game of his life in game 4 it is a very difference series. OKC made inexperienced mistakes though and their will was crushed after game 4 which ended an a game 5 rout.

Also just because they are the same position doesn't mean they do the same things for their teams. i.e. Kobe vs. Wade.
That and Lebron likes to share, Kobe not so much.

Because he is. Right now Lebron is at least 5 times better then Kobe and I am a Laker fan. What Kobe did 10 years ago has no bearing on who is better now. I would take Lebron over Kobe in a heartbeat, in fact right now I would take a lot of players over Kobe.

Has anyone ever averaged triple doubles for an entire season? Oh yea that was Oscar Robertson. Has anyone ever averaged over 50 points a game for the entire season, oh yea, that was Wilt Chamberlain. People forget how great they were. MJ never did any of those feats but he was one of the greatest of all time!!!

I am just saying remember Oscar and Wilt too when you talk about the greatest of all time, they are in the discussion.

Kobe' s main job was to score even then he was not a ball hog 10 years he averaged 5+ assists a game.

Well number 1 this boils down to tha hate people have for Kobe, And if Kobe is tha closest thing to Jordan than everything lebron is better than Kobe at, he better than Jordan at also.

Lebron is better at rebounding and passing than Jordan and Kobe but that's because he is a small forward and the system he in calls for him to do that, Kobe system was the triangle offense and it called for him to score and takeover when needed....

Kobe kinda had a unfair career kuz he played with Shaq for like 9 years so his stats and numbers are of course what people will use to say he not great, Than 2005 and up he wasted 3 years of his prime with Kwame brown and smush parker....

But take nothing away from Lebron , he a freak of nature just like Magic was but he bigger and faster but stats don't tell the whole story kuz if they did its alot of players with a higher PER than Kobe, But Kobe has the fundamentals, tha killer instinct, tha offensive arsenal, the footwork and Jordan like ability to put a team away & in his prime, he scored 62 in 3 quarters, ten 50 point games in a season,81 point game,4 games in a row of 50 and 65, he no doubt is the deadliest scorer this league ever seen .I love Lebron but teaming up with wade and bosh in the prime of his career is a knock on his legacy, Kobe had to rebuild with bynum and gasol and beat the big 3 celtics.....
