While their offense is likely going to be ridiculous, their defense is going to be suspect.
That's the only real knock I can see
This is a good point. They are now unloading Bogut, Ezeli and Barnes. They may pick up some new bigs to put around the big 4. When you have that amazing big 4 core, all you really need to do is put role player pieces around them. You don't need big name talent around that big 4.
Fair enough, but none of GSW's 4 are in next year's all-star game yet. 3 of the 4 made it to the 2010 all star game. Ray Allen didn't, but he was there in 2009 and 2011. So pretty close.
All you guys calling Durant a sell-out and title-chaser ever consider maybe he just felt he would fit into the Warriors organization better than in OKC? Maybe he didn't co-exist as well with Westbrook as you all think, and maybe he didn't care so much for all their iso-ball.
While I'm excited to see what he'll bring to the team, I'm also hesitant. He will bring more of an inside presence, but they'll also be giving up some defense and depth (their strong suit up to now), not to mention taking shots away from their other scorere. Hopefully they will co-exist without anyone catching feelings.
I haven't read all comments but haven't really seen any of those type of comments
