How is Calabro being received so far by Blazer fans and Portland? (games, race)

I tired to watch a game lately (live around Seattle) and it was just too, too weird listening to him. He's great and likable, but having him do Blazer games, is almost like having Vin Scully do Giant games.
Plus the way that Mike and Mike were forced out by Paul Allen and team management was pretty disgraceful.
