Down the stretch they went away from James, Love got two touches and blew the 2nd as Iggy knows dude has no game really in crunch time. And JR missed a 3, if you're going fighting give it to the MAN!!

When the Cavs were up by 1 with 3 minutes to go, that's when it went to crap, the Cavs defense is horrific!

And....George Hill, JR Smith, Kyle Korver get set to play the last NBA Finals game of their career, hope they take some nice pictures of the festivities.

To have rings and never be considered one of the greatest due to how you got them will last much longer when the money is gone

Fun fact, Kawhi Leonard was in the same draft as Thompson and the Cavs could’ve have the former. (Obviously no one has any clue Leonard would be so good and hindsight is 20/20)
If I'm LeBron, and I think I know how his moods go, I have a feeling he's gone from this team after these finals are over. I just don't see him wanting to sacrifice his body for another long, dreary season and post season playing 40 plus minutes a game just for the Cavs to have a chance at winning every game. Unless the Cavs have some trades or draft picks I'm unaware of.

I just don't feel like there's much out there to challenge this Warriors team. You have very off nights by Curry and Thompson and you still win by 8. You get extra production from Love and JR and you still lose by 8.

I see two teams, that if healthy, they can run a full 48 minutes with Golden State and that's Boston and Houston. Everyone else is a distant 4th and so on. It's so tough watching these Finals matchups with Lebron against the Warriors, because there's just not enough talent there. The Durant acquisition I still say is the difference maker. This would likely be a 2-1 Cleveland series if it wasn't for Durant. Durant ABSOLUTELY MURDERED Cleveland tonight and that deep 3 over JR is the kind of stuff that demoralizes the competition. This isn't the Durant that was in OKC. This Durant is far more lethal, because he has people around him that play team ball and set him up to succeed. Also, that 3 that Curry took was very likely the true dagger. He'd been stone cold all night and he finally hits one down the stretch in the 4th. So not only do they have to worry about Durant, you also have Curry that can heat up at any moment. Just too much firepower.

The CP3 injury definitely leaves a lot of what ifs on the table, because Houston was handling business when he was on the floor. When he went out, Houston succumbed to the same issues as Cleveland. Come out hot, but run out of gas in the second half.

I agree. Perhaps if Kyrie was still there (and not injured) the Cavs would have a fighting chance. But as well know, their role players of Thompson and JR simply aren’t good even as James breaks his back for the team

He’ll be leaving to Houston next year. Personally, I wish he would’ve had his ring against Dallas, that will haunt him for a while

As much as most people hate Durant’s move to the Warriors, he’s probably knocking on top 15 all time with a 2nd ring...especially if he has two Finals MVPs to go with it. A 3rd ring and he goes even higher.

And Lebron is knocking on #1 of all time with a 4th or 5th ring

That’s not the point. If it was the point then everyone should just join GSW, Rockets, and Celtics to get their ring.

We can safely assume Lebron will be joining the rockets giving us another “super super team” and you can thank KD for that. Because it will take only another super super team to ever beat them.
