My husband and I are having to move rather suddenly for his job. He is there, and I am still in Hattiesburg, MS, which makes finding a place difficult. He found an apartment that is ready for immediate move in at Ole London Town Apartments off of O'Neal Lane, and was curious if anyone know about this complex or the area? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

The immediate area is alright, the area of east Baton Rouge is a good one. My good friend lives north of there. Where does he work?

A better choice is Chateaux Dijon on Essen. You'd avoid a lot of traffic that way. And there's lots of apartments on Jefferson, particularly check out Jefferson Oaks, which is in my neighborhood. Very centrally located.

If hes working on Essen why is he living off Oneal? That's way too far.

Send me a private message, or post your rent price range here so I can offer you some alternatives around Essen/Perkins/Bluebonnet.

I strongly discourage Dijon. Very run down and crappy.

Agreed. Chateaux Dijon is an older complex but it is well maintained and quiet.
