I am considering having a turn key home built on my land. Any local builders that can supply floorplans with cost estimate without a committment up front?
My property is in west feleciana.
I think I want a traditional, semi-open floorplan, basic house- would like to look over some floorplans before deciding.
Is there any local builders that have a website with some of this info? I do not have time to meet and BS about what I want, would rather do it at my conveinance.
Any reccommendations are appreciated.

I will have to check them out.
I have been looking on the united built homes site, found sevral of interest.
As for a realtor, no, I don't have 1. I own my property and am kicking around the idea of having a new home built on it. As for local builders, the ones I know want 50k for making phone calls to have your house built and primarily want to sell you a house on property they already own so they can pocket even more.

Most builders we spoke with were more than willing to sit down and discuss what kind of home we wanted, how much we wanted to spend, and what features we wanted in the home. Some even have plans you can choose from and will modify (to a certain extent) those plans to suit your lot and/or your needs. Try talking to Jairo Alvarez, Schumacher Homes, Stafford Custom Homes, and Aucoin Homes. (I know the websites for those, but the moderator won't let me put them in.) We spoke with all four before deciding on one

MODERATOR: Recommendations are usually reserved for more senior posters but I'll let this one through. What you may not do is push a certain builder or advertise if you are that builder or associated through working with them in any way...you may state positive or negative experiences, you just can't make identifying remarks about one person or call names if it was not a good experience.

Realtor websites are NOT allowed under any circumstances.

I am looking at inited built homes. Anyone have any comments about them?
They have a plan that is ideal, easily modified to my liking, priced decently and we like it. I have met with them and basicly have everything in the works. Does anyone have any experience?
