What is the name of the female Baton Rouge OB/GYN doctor that has a commercial that airs in the morning usually on the NBC station before the Today show? She appears to be of mixed race...I think. My present gynecologist has horrible communication and I am shopping for a replacement. Thanks.

I use Dr. Schexnadyer over there by Womans Hospital and for all the bad luck I have had with finding a doctor I like that knows what they are doing.. I LOVE this man! He is so sweet, considerate and knowledgeable. Wait times are not long for office visits and I never have felt rushed through there. He actually takes the time to sit down and talk to you first!

I'm so glad to hear you all have doctors you really like. I've had a terrible time finding doctors here. It's a surprise that folks I know here don't have doctors and dentists that they've used for ages, they don't even have recommendations. (Same thing with hairstylists.) I really miss having my team of docs --

Something odd -- one doctor requires a $250 cash deposit just to schedule an appointment. They get so many no-shows. This is crazy (but I guess a good way to weed-out folks that can't afford them - that's sad).
