I hope so, as BBB prices for Internet only are pretty pricy!
If you're okay with sharing, what part of town are you in?

I'm in the NE part of town, almost mid-town, and an older neighborhood. I'm sure that has something to do with it.

Can you expand on this? What do you say exactly? You just ask for it and they give it to you? Pretty awesome if it works....

Default Hi Speed Internet In Bend

It's essential to my job. I see Bend Broadband and Comcast have service there. Any comments on reliability, coverage, etc appreciated.

Are there other options? How is DSL coverage in Bend? I'm seriously considering a few acres and most of it is a couple miles "out of town proper", like Deschutes River Woods, or the Tumalo area.

Thanks!

Bend Broadband is quite good. Webformix is probably still available and that is a good over-the-air internet. Wireless, but I am never sure what the correct name for it is.

I didn't like DSL. I am using Prine Time wireless which is excellent, but I don't know if their territory extends as far as Bend.

Any more recent updates or suggestions for internet service in Bend for those planning to move there; cable vs DSL vs satellite options.

Bend Weaselband. Welcome to caps and woeful speeds. My 100 Mbps service is sitting at 1.26 Mbps at the moment. Of course, it's advertised at "up to" 100 Mbps, so I guess a speed at almost 1/100th of that falls under the definition.

The takeover of BBB by TDS Telecom was finalized last week. I've asked TDS when the caps are going. They don't impose caps any where else. Still waiting for an answer.

Interesting. I have no problem with BBB speeds up or down.
