If bookstores on the BI sadly go the way of the dinosaur, Henry mentioned that he has an iPad. Thanks to the Guttenberg Project, there are now about 25,000 free e-books (mostly classics older than 70 years) available via the Kindle store, the Apple iBooks store, and other outlets. I've downloaded many books by my favorite authors, such as Mark Twain and Joseph Conrad. There are also various free issues of e-magazines available. Check out the app for Islands magazine. I can't get the Kauai issue to download properly, but some of the other issues are gorgeous.
