Hula Pie in Hilo or Pahoa (hotel, buy, restaurants)

Are there any places in Hilo or Pahoa with Hilo pie? I love it but cannot find a place with it.

Hula Pie

Ingredients:
1 9-inch chocolate cookie piecrust
1 half gallon macadamia nut ice cream (Seems like a lot of ice cream, but you’ll be piling it high.)
4 ounces chocolate fudge topping
1 shot of espresso or strong coffee
6 ounces macadamia nuts
Whipped cream

1. Bring fudge topping to room temperature.

2. Scoop ice cream into prepared pie shell, smoothing it into a rough dome, or bombe, as high as you’d like.

3. Warm espresso or coffee and mix into chocolate. Use a warmed knife to spread topping even over ice cream bombe.

4. Freeze until ready to serve.

5. Cover top of pie with a layer of whipped cream and chopped macadamia nuts before serving.

I'm not into cooking so i would rather buy it.

It doesn't really require any "cooking" (other than perhaps brewing espresso or some really strong coffee).

Anyway, "hula pie" is a trademarked variation of "mud pie" that was first developed by TS Restaurants (Duke's, Hula Grill, Kimo's, etc.). Unfortunately, there are no "TS Restaurant-operated or affliated" places on the Big Island. The closest thing to "hula pie" on the Big Island that's ready-made is "Hilo Hawaiian Mud Pie" at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel and "Ice Cream Pie" at Don's Grill.

However, the folks at Baskin-Robbins in Hilo might be able to make a custom "ice cream pie" that's pretty close to an official "hula pie."

It's more along the line of "assembling" than anything else, IMHO. How hard can it be to scoop ice cream into a prepared pie shell and pour frosting over the top?

If you asked my neighbors for the recipe they'd start out with instructions on how to milk either the cow or the goat, so assembling a few ingredients should be easy as pie! Bwahahhaha!
