Didn't you read the thread? The OP already got exactly the answer she wanted!

True, if the list of guesses on "what it might go wrong" is what she's after, yep, mission accomplished by above postings.

Reading through all her posts I'd say it this way... she hates the things, she doesn't like them in the house, she doesn't want to move them, and she turned to us for support in achieving her goal of not bringing them to Hawai'i.

Always glad to help.

Yes, it is easy to find ways to discourage someone from shipping large items here. Easier than answering the posts that say "please convince me that I want to move to Hawaii".

Was it the image of the roaches going in and out of the ears and nostrils of the stuffed heads that did it for you?

The J Hara store in Keaau is full of stuffed heads and such. Almost had to do a double-take thinking I was back in Alaska. So I guess you're out of luck, the Hawaii climate won't damage his stuff.

Question, is the J Hara store air-conditioned? That would keep them from rotting.

Well, if you can keep them dry, they will probably survive, but since he's into fishing now, have him leave the mainland animals there and go fishing on the Kona side and get a HUGE marlin to take to the taxidermy shop and stick that on the wall. I've seen some fish so big they won't fit in the back of a pickup truck. You'll need at least one, hey! Maybe two, of them on the wall.
