My boyfriend and I live in GA and are planning on moving to Pepeekeo very soon. However, we are having great difficulties in finding an apartment to rent in the city. We have found several in Hilo, but would prefer to live in either Pepeekeo or Paukaa. Can anyone PLEASE suggest a place from one of those areas

I think Paniolo Cowgirl is referring to Papaikou, which is right next to Pepeekeo.

That is county housing in Pepeekeo. Puueo is the neigborhood just across the river from downtown Hilo and south of Wainaku. (and Paukaa) Older area with many apartment buildings.

v . the pronunciaton depends on whether or not it starts a word or follows a particular letter or vowel. see the link listed above. so in acutality, it does matter where a letter is found in a word. no?
