Where I stay in NY, I’m in a heavily Hasidic community where inbreeding is quite common. The traits are very distinct with this sharing of bloodlines. The offspring of an inbreed is obvious. So Is inbreeding quite common in Puna? I don’t really care what people do as long as you don’t bother me. Who you want to hook up with is your business and nothing to do with me, but kinda curious.
OMG

Wouldn't surprise me, especially among Native Hawaiians, to pass on State benefits.

How do you know they were bred in Puna by observing them in a Hilo restaurant?

What establishment was this?

This is so wrong on so many levels, I can’t even begin to figure out how to respond.

I thought you were a cop, not a genetic specialist. This is, what, your first or second trip to Hawaii, and already you have a keen eye to be able to identify blood lines of people from different cultures. Simply amazing!

Your really offensive conclusions of “inbreeding” should get you thrown off of this forum. Next you’ll be chanting “send them back”

Isn't that what the native Hawaiians keep saying about Haoles?

Additionally, I would be careful about minimizing the powers of observation of many Police Officers, especially those that do more advanced work such as Detectives

No, it isn’t. Where I live there are a lot of locals of different ancestry, and I don’t think I know any real native Hawaiians. I have never ever heard anyone telling haloes to live their island.

Yes, there is a small minority of people who would like to go back to the Hawaii before the white man took over, but there is no overt antagonism against transplants. Maybe your experience is different.

Thank you for your response. I think the facts are somewhere between you reply, and my tongue-in-check offering, setting Kill Haole Day aside, of course!!!

Uhhhh...WTF?

What are the "obvious traits" of inbreeds?

How is it even possible to make these conclusions without genetic testing?

And, if you "don't really care", why even subject the readers of this forum to your rambling stream of conscious?

He didn't make a conclusion, he merely opined that they appeared to be the product of inbreeding, something he has experience seeing. I think we've all been to areas where some of the people have that "look".

Further he just asked if inbreeding was common in Puna.

Perhaps you could dismount your mighty "high horse" and answer his question, if you have any idea.
