Anyone ever own an English Budgie? (tame, conure, feather, cage)

Has anyone here ever owned an English Budgie? I know they are larger and have more feathering around the head, but are they different in any other ways from a regular parakeet? Are they as noisy?
I have one. For the most part he's the same as a regular budgie, just about twice the size. He is not one of the fluffy ones, looks more like a normal budgie. I only notice two difference besides the size. One, he is more vocal. He makes these squeaking noises that sound almost like a dolphin and he can chirp really loud. The other difference is that he likes to stand up really straight, this his tail and body being almost completely vertical. All of my other budgies seem to like to keep their tails out behind them. I guess it is his English nature to always stand up straight with good posture.
generally all budgies (English or American) are considerably loud for their size...
but its a different kind of loud,,,they don't scream like a sun conure...but they chatter, a lot, theres typically always some noise coming out of a budgie, and itll be louder at dawn and dusk...the chattering is generally soft enough that while consistent its not going to bother most neighbors...but loud enough that theres always some background noise in the house.
at dusk and dawn (and when otherwise calling the flock) those chirps can gain enough volume that apartment dwellers should be aware its happening.
other than size, the ony real difference is English budgies tend to be better mimics, an English budgie holds the record for words known...they tend to be more talkative using learnt human words than American budgies...
ive also found as a generality English budgies tend to have a calmer/gentler temperament, but handling forkm an early age will play a big part in that...
most petstore budgies (parakeets as they like to call them) arnt handled, and thus even if young come skittish....most English budgies however being rarer come from private breeders and are handled more as babies, often even hand fed and thus tend towards an already more tamed behavioural pattern.

This is a great thing to point out. I got my English budgie from a breeder when he was 9 weeks old. He had been hand raised and was completely tamed when I got him. I brought him home, put him in his new cage and let him relax for a couple of hours. The first time I stuck my hand in his cage he hopped right on to my finger and let me bring him out of the cage. Sometime it is hard to clean his cage because he is too friendly. He will jump on my hand or arm as I'm trying to change his water. He is much friendly than any store bought budgie I've ever had.
