We're moving to Birmingham soon,
We have two kids, one 4 and half, and another is 2 years old.

We are considering the daycare cener at UAB or Montessori school in Homewood. Because I'm an employee of UAB, we can go to the daycare center at UAB. The full day tuitions for these two places are the almost the same, $800/month.

Does anybody know anything about these two centers?
Thanks a lot,

I can't tell you about either, but I would also offer the daycare at South Highland Presbyterian as an option. It's on Highland Avenue near UAB and is first-rate. We sent all three of our children there.

Thanks for the post.
Is the daycare in the church open for the whole day?
I know many church centers close in middle of afternoon, like 3 or 4:00pm somthing.
Thanks,

I think people are fine with the UAB daycare, but the waiting list is long (I think it takes a year or year and a half)

Thanks,
This one was designed for the needs of working parents, so it was typically open from 7a-6p. Plus they made lunch for the kids.
