I used to live in Hoover just next to Pelham and have a very good friend who lives in Helena. Traffic to Birmingham in the AM and back in the evening hours can turn into a very long trip but beautiful and very family friendly areas.

I grew up in Pelham, parents still live there. I have a townhouse in Alabaster I am trying to sell. I know the area quite well.

I lived in Helena 1996 to 2006. Nice, but traffic on CR52 can be a nightmare. I would have moved back upon retirement, but the call of the Gulf Coast was too strong!
