They have been doing interior work for some time now converting a lot of floors from commercial layout (office design) to residential layout (living design).

That's awesome. I was worried no work was going on in that building. That may be the best looking tower downtown so I am happy to see work moving along on it. Would be nice to see them implement some LED lights outside of the building. None of the towers downtown have any type of LED accent lights besides the cheap looking ones on city hall.

There are plenty of LED lights coming next year (10 blocks to be exact) under the new bridge for the park that will be very visable from a distance.

^ same.

and actually, i don't have a big issue with the location. it makes sense for amazon, being right by the interstate. that area is largely commercial, and not particularly eye appealing, so i don't think this will necessarily detract too much. century plaza wasn't exactly pretty to look at.

i do wonder what kind of traffic it will bring, but crestwood blvd is a major road and there isn't much residential around, so i'm not too worried about that either. all in all, i think this is a win for the city.

I don't worry about traffic too much, given how Crestwood and Oporto Madrid are designed for it. Plus it sits adjacent to the Interstate, which makes it ideal for logistics.
