Very good outcome for the city. Was Hoyt not seeking re-election? Either way the council has now gotten rid of the two worst people from previous years - Scales and Hoyt.

How will politics of Bham possibly go forward with those 2 gone?

Scales left a couple years ago. She is on the county commission. Hoyt had his moments, he was more less trying to play both sides of the fence, from what I'm seen of him. His other "gig" besides a councilman was running a charity or a program geared toward helping provide high schooler's with college funds. So I guess he wants to devote his entire time to that now.

If this is not a consensus, I don't know what is. There is literally not a voting station in the city where Woodfin didn't get 50% or more.
