I am moving to Hoover next week and will be arriving with 2 dogs that I need to immediately park somewhere for a couple of days while I supervise the movers etc. Can anyone recommend a nice dog kennel? The Pampered Pet Resort looks beautiful but $44 per day is way more than I am used to paying. I love my dogs but they don't need fancy, just clean and caring. Most other places that I found on line don't have websites, just phone numbers.
I have been lurking here for awhile and reading your posts. It has been helpful to learn about the area. I am really excited to get there and warm up a bit too. I heard it was 65 there today while I was dashing inside in Ohio to escape the cold. It was 28 about 5 PM here today.
Thanks for any guidance you can throw my way.

Stay away from Rocky Ridge Animal Clinic. I would recommend Patton Chapel or Kidd Animal Clinic. Reasonable rates, and they seem to care about the animals well-being. I don't know how much it costs at Riverview Animal Clinic, but people seem to really like them alot.

Thanks for your reply. I will check them out. I had already made note of Patton Chapel and will call them today.

Great. They aren't the most pretty runs, but they are roomy, indoors and heated. They will feed your dogs their food or yours, and usually take them out three times a day or more. Just ask them for a tour.
