I think Viking posted the pics a while back, here's the vid if you haven't seen it. I can only dream about this one. I still like the E39 M5 the best, but this one is starting to grow on me.
what a sexy beast. Love the re-design I've seen on the roads (non-M of course) - along with the exhaust note, what more could you ask for? Have an X5 but this thing is my dream car.
BMW finally revealed today the 2012 BMW M5 F10, releasing the full details of the new high performance sedan, together with a huge image gallery. AS previously announced, the 2012 BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine equipped with the M TwinPower Turbo package that includes the Twin Scroll Twin Turbo, a cross-bank exhaust manifold, direct petrol injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control. BMW's official specifications say that the 2012 M5 develops 412 kW/560 hp between 6,000 rpm and 7,000 rpm and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque from 1,500 rpm. Another point BMW wants to make is that the 2012 M5 does not have turbo lag.
I think I'd be hard pressed to name a BMW I haven't at least *liked* if not *loved*.
The only caveat I ever have for their vehicles is that they are a bit pricey and I'm not calling that a negative but before even looking I knew I'd like this car a lot....but am cringing at what the REAL price tag might look like with options etc. on it.
The only negative I have to say about BMW is that their cheap lease options put a lot of low-class posers behind the wheel which sullies the brand a bit IMO.
P.S. Googled a bit and word on the street is >135,000....more if you want some extras. Um....yeah.....that's a bit of a price tag.
Be glad you're not in Norway Mathguy. It'll be priced north of $300k, easily.
